Shuso Ceremony for Reiko Connie Ralls
Join us for a Shuso Ceremony for Reiko Connie Ralls, finalizing Jikoji's winter Ango. Our Ango, or Practice Period, was extended when the coronavirus pandemic led to the cancellation of our annual Tanjo-e sesshin.
This Shuso Ceremony celebrates the community's practice together over this prolonged period. According to tradition, there is a question and answer period, where the Shuso, or Head Student, shows her understanding of practice gained over the Ango. All are welcome to participate by asking the Shuso, Reiko Connie Ralls, a short question from the heart, which will be answered in kind. The Shuso Ceremony will take place following the conclusion of our Kobun Memorial Sesshin.

To help maintain as best we can the intimacy and integrity of an in-person gathering, we ask all who join us online to please observe the following practices.
- Sign in using real name.
- Keep microphone muted unless speaking during discussion periods.
- Maintain zendo silence during meditation periods and while waiting for discussion period to begin.
- Keep camera on and maintain facial visibility during discussion period.
- Anonymous participation online will not be permitted, as it would not be permitted in person.
