Nagauta-Shamisen concert

In honor of Kobun's Memorial, Jikoji will host a Nagauta-Shamisen concert with Junko Nakauchi , (Sahosho Kineya, Shamisen player) and Saeko Ginestet (vocal) on Sunday August 7 at 2 pm..   Nagauta-Shamisen is a traditional music form popularized in the 18th century to provide the background music for Kabuki  theater. Ceremonial Japanese tea will also be served.
