Long ago, the Buddha sent the first monks forth from Deer Park to carry their practice into the world.  To inspire their practice through the lonely struggles in the forests and cities, he taught the monks a simple ceremony of renewal and instructed them to gather in groups once a month on the full moon to support and sustain each other’s practice.  The residents of Jikoji invite you to join us in this rite as the full moon passes across the buddhist world.
