Jikoji remains closed for now, but our Sunday Program is going online. Join us from wherever you are, in our virtual zendo, for a morning of meditation, service, and a Dharma Talk.
Our Dharma talk this Sunday will be given by Meido Barbara Anderson, titled “The Second Arrow.”

ONLINE ZENDO ETIQUETTE
To help maintain as best we can the intimacy and integrity of an in-person gathering, we ask all who join us online to please observe the following practices.
- Sign in using real name.
- Keep microphone muted unless speaking during discussion periods.
- Maintain zendo silence during meditation periods and while waiting for discussion period to begin.
- Keep camera on and maintain facial visibility during discussion period.
- Anonymous participation online will not be permitted, as it would not be permitted in person.

Meido Barbara Anderson is the resident teacher and priest at O-An Zendo, one of Jikoji’s sister temples, in Central Pennsylvania. Retired from Penn State University, where she founded and served as the first Director of the Center for Sustainability, she taught courses in multidisciplinary studies in Science, Technology and Society and Green Design. She also served as the Director of Peace Studies. After more than 30 years of practice, Meido received Transmission at Jikoji from Shoho Michael Newhall in December 2018.
