Zazen - Service - Dharma talk • LuNCH

• At Jikoji ZEN Center & ONLINE (ZOOM) •

A poet, essayist, and freelance editor and writer, Roberta Werdinger was born and raised near Chicago, the daughter of a Holocaust survivor. She came to California to find herself; entering Zen practice, she thoroughly lost herself, re-found herself, and has inhabited and dissolved various identities since. She resided at Green Gulch Farm and Tassajara Mountain Center for more than ten years, receiving priest ordination in 2000 and serving as shuso (head student) in 2006. She is a member of Everyday Zen, guided by Zoketsu Norman Fischer, and is also a student of Kiku Christina Lehnherr. Currently she focuses on the planetary metacrisis, in order to preserve the Buddhadharma and help all beings steer a course through a rapidly changing world.
