New Year's Eve Celebration

New Year’s Eve Celebration

Join us for an evening of meditation & 108 bows

Led by Kaizan Doug Jacobson

Saturday & Sunday

Join us for a sunset meditation on the ridge to say goodbye to 2022 and a sunrise meditation to welcome in 2023 ***weather dependent***

Join us for the joy and ease of Zen sitting and walking meditation on Jikoji’s tranquil and beautiful land. We will meditate, take a gentle hike for an evening sunset meditation on the ridge (***weather dependent***), have dinner together, and bow 108 times to welcome in the New Year. In the morning, (***weather dependent***) we will walk to the ridge for sunrise meditation to welcome in 2023. We will welcome 2023 in good company as we affirm our own ways to begin again.

Please arrive by 3:30pm to gather and walk up to the ridge for sunset followed by dinner, Zazen, and 108 bows to welcome in 2023.

REGISTRATION: Please use our reservation page to book overnight accommodations. Space is limited, so sign up early!
