Kobun Memorial Sesshin 2022
Wednesday, July 20 - Sunday, July 24, 2022
Join us as we spend an extended weekend honoring the memory of Jikoji's founder Kobun Chino Otogawa Roshi. This year, our Kobun memorial will be held at Jikoji and will also be available over Zoom.
The full schedule is posted here.
Please note that we have reached capacity for in-person attendance during the week, but guests are still most welcome to join us at Jikoji for the Sunday morning program!

We begin Wednesday evening, July 20, with a social dinner, followed by some periods of sitting and opening remarks. Our formal program starts Thursday, July 21, with a full day of sesshin-style sitting, plus daily talks.
The Saturday schedule continues our sesshin format through the lunch period. After lunch, at 3pm, our traditional afternoon Kobun Readings will again be led by Judy Cosgrove, with a discussion of selections from the Thursday-Mornings.org Kobun Archive.
You can download the selected readings here.
Our special Kobun weekend continues into Sunday morning, when during our regular 11:40am Dharma Talk period we will instead have our traditional Memorial Service and Procession to the Kobun memorial site, and offer incense while chanting the Daihi Shin Dharani. Following that, our traditional community lunch.
Cost:
For those joining the sesshin on site, the cost is $60/per overnight, and $25/per day for daytime visits (no overnights.)
