ZenIt Presentation with Amil Khanzada

Amil grew up in the SF Bay Area and has worked in software engineering for about 8 years. Earlier this year he moved to Eiheiji town in Japan, the "headquarters" of Japanese Soto Zen.

There he is starting a new movement called ZenIT, which aims to combine Zen philosophy and meditation with Silicon Valley's cutting-edge work ethic to create a new style of working that is very peaceful yet highly productive. The world needs something like this now, since there is too much stress in the workplace. This project has visibility and/or support from the Eiheiji mayor, Fukui governor, executives of several software companies, and hundreds of One Young World peace ambassadors worldwide.

Right now, the project is in the pilot phase, so we're looking for developers worldwide who want to join the effort! Please let Amil know if you are interested and feel free to forward on to your friends.

Amil will come to talk at Jikoji on Sunday, 11/18 at 2pm in the community building, so please join in!
