Dear Jikoji Sangha,

Please be aware that Jikoji has cancelled all public events and gatherings, starting March 10 through April 5, 2020.

We are taking this unprecedented step out of concern for the health and safety of our community, in an effort to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus that causes the COVID-19 disease. We will continue to monitor this rapidly changing situation and will be reevaluating as circumstances warrant. Please check back here for any updates.

Note that this cancellation of public events includes our regular Sunday Program, the Wednesday evening Book Discussions, the March 29 Science & Buddhism meeting, and our annual Tanjo-e sesshin.

At this time, individual guests are still welcome to book personal private retreats through our Reservations page.

CANCELLED: Buddha’s Birthday Celebration

Join us for a celebration of Buddha's birthday. The Jikoji Sangha will be joined by the children of Bamboo in the Wind Sangha for song and celebration, a bake sale, and tasty goodies in support of Children's Practice. Children of all ages are invited. Following our regular Sunday Program, and the conclusion of our Tanjo-e sesshin honoring the birth of the Buddha.
