A Daylong or a Mini-weekend Retreat
with Buddhist Eco-Chaplains Yanli Wang and Anna Weisman

Come join us to rediscover and reconnect with our oneness with nature. In addition to meditating in nature, activities such as forest bathing and guided journeys will help us attune to our deeper selves through a deeper connection with the more-than-human world. We will find home in ourselves, in nature, and in each other.

There is the option to join for the day or to make it a mini-weekend retreat by booking an overnight stay with Jikoji. The day-long portion will complete at 4:30pm on Saturday. For the mini-weekend retreat, there will be evening and Sunday morning activities offered by Yanli and Anna.

We will join Jikoji’s broader sangha for their Sunday program at 10:00 am. For overnight guests, Saturday dinner, Sunday breakfast and lunch are included in the overnight booking.

Any donations to Yanli and Anna are welcome at the end of the retreat. They offer this experience freely with goodwill to all beings in the human and more-than-human world.

Eco-Chaplains Yanli Wang and Anna Weisman

Anna holds a Master’s degree in holistic health education, and is a certified hypnotherapist. She has led guided mindfulness meditations for groups and individuals. Anna recently completed the Sati Center’s Buddhist Eco-Chaplaincy certification program, where she trained in teachings and practices designed to support others to find resilience and strength in their connections with nature, Self, and community.

Yanli is a trained Buddhist Eco-Chaplain with Sati Center under the guidance of Gil Fronsdal, Susie Harrington, Kirsten Rudestam, and Ram Appalaraju. She loves backpacking trips and month(s)-long silent meditation retreats. Her love of nature and her dedication to the buddhist meditation practice have led her on the path of a buddhist eco-chaplain, deepening our connection with nature to experience our deeper self, the Dharma, and the sense of belonging in community and the more-than-human world.
