Spring brings us a special energy for artmaking. “The green fuse that drives the flower” also quickens our senses, including our imagination. When we dedicate ourselves to attuning to the senses without distraction, we are free to create new forms and refresh old ones. In this retreat-workshop, we’ll open to spring’s creative energies and to what is fresh and wants to find form. All forms are welcome—hybrid forms, writing, visual art, music, videography, photography—and no form!

The program is suitable for artists, writers, and anyone who’d like to explore the joy of practicing with artmaking and meditation together.

Our time together on Zoom will include meditation, movement, and sharing to help us sense directly the awareness and energy of our inner world and the world outside. We’ll have ample time away from Zoom to focus on our individual creative work. A detailed schedule and supplementary material will be provided to participants.
