Grounds Working Practice
Raking and shoveling the entrance road's ditches, pruning, gathering branches and sawing, splitting and stacking wood are all activities that can be quite meditative with a clear sense of focus. The shift from just getting the job done to being present in the work at hand provides a subtle but rich nourishment.
Come for the morning & lunch, the afternoon, or both!
We have gloves and hats, but bring a favorite shovel or saw if you have one. Please wear closed-toed shoes, clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, and a sun hat. Bring a water bottle as well. as we will be working outside all day.
We look forward to practicing with you!
